Originally from the Chamonix Valley, Damien has always skied. He has been a teacher at Adrenaline for 12 years and returns every season.
He teaches skiing on slopes, off-piste and introductory ski touring.
What do you like best about your job as an instructor?
I love teaching skiing to pass on my passion, to help my students progress so they can safely ski down all types of slopes and to share wonderful memories in the mountains with them.
Your favorite slope in Verbier?
My favorite slope in Verbier is Mont Gelé.
Rather ski or snowboard? …your other passions?
I'm more of a skier, and I enjoy all forms of it: on-piste, off-piste, touring, and even freestyle. I'm also passionate about two wheels; I do mountain biking, enduro, and motorcycling.
Where are you and what do you do in the summer?
I live year-round in the Val de Bagnes in Le Châble. In the summer, I work in a small company that manufactures electrical panels and boxes.
Your favorite place in Verbier?
I enjoy being at the top of Mont Fort to contemplate its 360° panorama of the Alps, and then going down to have lunch in the sun on the terrace of the Le Carrefour restaurant.
What are you riding?
I own a lot of pairs of skis, at least 7. One for every condition. I have a big weakness for Dynastar and Nordica which are well suited for me.
