I joined Adrenaline in 2023. I am fluent in English, French, German, and Dutch.
What do you like best about your job?
The opportunity to work in a multicultural setting, to interact with people from all over the world who share a common desire to ski and improve. Coaching allows me to share experiences and my passion for skiing.
Why Verbier?
I appreciate the beauty of Verbier and the surrounding resorts, which offer incredible diversity for skiing, especially off-piste.
And in the summer, where are you and what do you do?
I live in Val de Bagnes year-round and take advantage of this time to focus on my physical preparation for the upcoming ski season. I'm also passionate about science and constantly expand my existing medical knowledge.
What are your passions, have you practiced any in competition?
I grew up in Amsterdam, where I competed in speed skating. Later, alongside my professional life, I competed internationally in triathlon and mountain biking for 20 years. I also competed in ski racing (FIS, Masters) until 2024.
Skiing, cycling, photography, medical science, bonsai, Asian cuisine and symphonic metal.
What ski do you ride?
For teaching, I ski with slalom skis; for free skiing, I prefer giant slalom or freeride skis (Dynastar/Look only). However, I use my Lange racing boots with all my skis.
